Antique Mirroscope Magic Lantern Episcope Projector, Cleveland, Ohio

This dark green Mirroscope projector was made by the Buckeye Stereopticon Co., Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The wonderful antique projector enables a postcard, photo, or other printed matter to be placed inside the back door and projected onto a wall or screen. The lens extends out up to 6\" to focus the item and two removable heat stacks located directly above the light bulbs allow the heat to escape while preventing light from entering. It measures about 12 1/2\" wide x 13\" deep (with lens) x 13\" high including the top heat chimneys. The projectorneeds a new cord installed to work. The existing cord poses a fire hazard. There are a few age appropriate scratches, dents and bits of rustiness. There also appears to be some white paint spatters on the surface.
