For your consideration is an antique oak wall mount National Electric Time Recording clock and wooden 50 slot time card holder. It is encased in an oak cabinet that is approx. 38 1/4\" tall, 12 5/8\" wide, and 11 1/8\" at its deepest point. There is a locking glass door (key included) on the front that\'s marked \"National Time Recorder Co. Ltd...Patentees, ..London. S.E.I.\". The punch card mechanism is at the base and has a diamond pattern metal surface that\'s embossed \"National\"metal of clock trunk. Below the metal surface is a brass lever that moves horizontally under a white label that reads \"In-Out-In-Out\", and a larger brass lever that moves vertically. When this lever is pushed down a bell rings loudly. The electrical cord is protruding from a slot of the right side of the case. Overall the unit is in nice condition and appears to be complete. It has scratches, scuffs, and finish loss/flaking from age. The metal dial of the clock is also flaking causing some of the numbers to be difficult to see. The glass door will need adjusting/repair as it does not lock in place. I plugged the clock in and it did not run, but after investigating further I found that numerous wires were not connected inside the case. I did not attempt to connect the wires due to my limited knowledge of these machines. Because of this it\'s being offered untested, as is, for parts or restoration. The card holder is also wall mountable and has 50 tin/metal from slots for storing time cards. The holder has wear on the wood case and a patina on the front tin.
