Offered here is a very large Wool Indian pattern rug / carpet from the circa the 1920\'s. This amazing piece has hung in our family\'slodge for ages and has never been used as a carpet / rug to my knowledge. This item has never seen direct sunlight for more than a few moments so these colors are really magnificent ! Quite large measuring about 60 x 77 inches. This is really a beautiful room sized rug or carpet, not a throw rug. Beautiful fine fringe around the edges all seems well intact and about 3 inches long. Unique is the \" S . \" letter or signature or perhaps maker mark in the lower left corner. This pattern is known as tumbling log according to the famous book by George Wharton James - Indian blankets and their makers. Absolutely wonderful museum quality work. This piece comes froma NON Smoking home and guaranteed Antique and authentic Wool Navajo style and pattern. Good Luck
