You\'re offerding on a very cute pair of bookends - They feature a pair of Scottish Terriers huddled close together atop a pedestal, kind of reminiscent of the early Texaco Scottie mascots - marked on the back as \"NuArt Creations -NYC\". NuArt was a company that produced bookends and other artistic consumer products throughout the 1920s and 1930s. They are white metal with a dark brown overpainted finish. Good overall condition for age and type - a few small chippy areas of the finish (see photos),but they retain their presentation value and appeal. The felt bottoms are no longer there, but no real impact on appearance or functionality. They are 4 1/4\" wide, stand 5\" tall with a front-to-back depth of 2 3/4\" and solid, weighing in at a combined 4 1/2 lbs. Fun, handsome pieces!
