A fine and impressive antique Victorian opal and 0.20 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold dress ring; part of our antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections

The three graduating round cabochon opals are displayed alternately between two pairs of Old European round cut diamonds in an impressive multi-claw setting.

The opals are described as \'white\' on the grading card,\' they all however display an impressive play of color.

The elevated flared ring shoulders integrate into the setting and are ornamented with a very subtle groove.

The shoulders blend seamlessly into the plain 18k yellow gold fully hallmarked ring shank.

The hallmarks to the interior of the shank includes the 18k fineness hallmark (750), the Chester Assay Office mark (three sheaves), the date letter for 1895 (M), and the maker\'s mark \'BH Joseph & Co\' (BHJ & Co.).

This antique ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.

Condition

This antique ring is fine quality, set with natural opals and high color graded diamonds.
The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition.
The date and maker hallmarks are clear; the remaining hallmarks are legible but are slightly worn in keeping with age.

Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewelry/estate jewelry.
