Antique Original Victorian Red Satin hand blown Glass Lamp with Regal Iris pattern by Pittsburg Lamp, Glass & Brass Co,circa 1880. The brass base is Hyacinth pattern by the same glass company. The so called \" Gone with the Wind\" style Oil Lamp was electrified with on/ off switch. Red Satin Glass Shade looks gorgeously, no cracks, just tiny imperfections on the glass as natural residue of hand blown process at that time. The Lamp has a chimney made of thin good quality glass. The base is made of intricately carved brass base ( square 6\"x6\") as well as the middle section with the marked knob. The glass shade is 10\" in Dia, the lamp with the base and chimney is 24\"tall. Perfect condition for the age.I am sincerely grateful to the members who supplied me with the proper information about the lamp.
