My Grandmother was especially fond of very ornate silver& silver-plate. She loved the ceremony of serving tea and/or coffee tocompany. She had many different sets – of all different patterns and designs. Thisis a beautiful 5 piece coffee & tea set by English Company from Sheffield,England – IFS Ltd. The hallmark on the back of the set dates it in the early1900’s. The pattern is ornate & lovely with lots of raised & hammeredfloral work. It is hallmarked on eachpiece with the IFS, Ltd. name, and their signature mark of hand with hammer.The exceptional fine craftsmanship and detail are carried through on each piece. We have had this set restored to nearperfection, and it is in excellent antique condition. It would certainly make alovely gift or addition to your own home.
