The tall, elegant jug with flared spout and spreading circular base.

The body with fantastic depictions of the 12 signs of the Zodiac.

Handle with ornate stylised acanthus leaf accents.

Hinged lid with surmounted by a small knob.

Hallmarked to underside of spout and underneath lid.

Hallmarks are for William Edwards, London 1876.

An absolutely top quality piece, with highly unusual decoration.

Condition

Good condition with just expected wear.

Hallmarks clear and legible.
