about 37\" long x 2-3/4\" wide. The fantastic buckle and figural embellishment are nickel plated brass. The lettering is also metal. The leather is not dry but has some minor age-related cracking, although it is NOT brittle or falling apart, and is in quite good condition for the age. We do not recommend wearing it. There are surface marks and normal signs of age. Circa mid to late 1800s, or early 1900s at the most recent. We think this is probably from the Washington Hose Company of Coatsville, PA, but all we know for sure is \"Washington\".
