This is a wonderful antique sterling silver weighted set of candle sticks. Monogramed in script with what looks to me to be M.A.J. These are thick silver pieces not like the cheaper thin mid century pieces of weighted silver you so often see. I could find no makers marks I even removed (then replaced) the green felt on one of the sticks looking for makers hallmarks but no luck. In good condition but there is a ding/dent on the bottom lip of one of the sticks you can see this and several small dings that are hidden when covered by the felt in the last photo which shows the bottom of the stick I pulled the felt from but is now replaced. The top lip of the same stick is slightly bent down (see second to last photo for image of this). Acid tested as to silver purity, Weighted with plaster of Paris . Measurements 6.5\" high x 4.5/16\" wide across the bottom of base 2.\" wide across the top of stick. Weight of one stick 15.5 oz
