For sale is a Pathe Model III phonograph. It was French made. I\'m not sure of the exact year, but I\'m guessing early 1900\'s. It was designed to play vertical cut records (with a special stylus which is not included), but can also play lateral cut (standard 78rpm) records. This machine is in great original shape overall. In addition to cleaning it up, I rebuilt the reproducer with new mica and gaskets. The two spring motor winds nice and smooth and has enough power to play both sides of a record without trouble.
The back of the cabinet has separated at the corners on both sides. This is nothing that a wood refinisher can\'t fix though. I could continue with restoring this machine, but it plays and presents well as is. If you\'re looking for a nice phonograph to display or use, this one might be for you.
