Up for sale here we have aAntiqueDagger. First off we will say that this item isn\'t really in our wheel house. Wepurchasedit from a very nice estate full of excellent high end collectibles. It is certainly a very old dagger from everything we can see. Another reason we purchased the item was it comes with a littleprovenance. The tag that came with the knife is photographed. It states that this knife was given to the family by William H. Danforth or as the note states WM. Danforth. He was the founder of Ralston-Purina which later became Purina Mills. The dagger was being displayed with some very rare items when found. We tried to take the best photos we could. In the included note they refer to this as a sword, but we feel it was a dagger due to size (please see photo number 11 for size).
