We are offering a selection of handmade wool oriental rugs fresh from the floors of several local households. They range in date from the late 1800s-middle 1900s and all are in used condition requiring some cleaning. Many have wear as noted in the descriptions and NONE has pet odors UNLESS specifically noted. Please see our other sales for more nice carpets fresh to the market. This early 1900s wool pile on cotton foundation rug measures 31” x 58” and has a very pretty color palette with un-painted “sarouk red” field and nice open design with tribal stylized designs. It has a pleasing “floppy” weave and good, even, medium pile overall. You will note edge wear and loss in the end weaves. The borders are intact.
