The charger is a very fine example with an early flat rim with a shallow bowl. There are several worn marks, including a worn \"LONDON\" scroll mark. The charger is also dated on the front rim with three initials, \"DEG\". Although this has the London mark, I am not sure if this was made in England at all. Because English pewter was more sought after, the London touch mark was often utilized by other countries to enhance the value of the pewter. This example may have been made in India, back when it was owned and controlled by Great Britain and referred to as the \"British Indies\"? CONDITION: Good condition with a hairline age crack off the inside rim and an old repair there as well. There is also some minor scratching and denting.
