Antique Pittsburgh Arts & Crafts Reverse Painted Scenic Handel Era Table Lamp:
$2150.00

I recently purchased a number ofParpoint and Pittsburgh reverse painted lamps that I am going to be listinghere with very reasonable Buy-it-Nows. I am a picky buyer of these andthe ones I have here are in very nice condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Why buy a damaged or cracked one when you can get a good one for a fairprice? Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need anyadditional pictures.

This is a beautifully painted Pittsburgh mountain scene lamp. It has multiple bright rocky mountain scenes with trees in the foreground and clouds in the sky. It is painted on the inside and outside in just about every color imaginable. What\'s more is that the scene does not repeat itself and just appears to go on forever no matter what way you turn the lamp. It is just a fantastically beautifully colored lamp! The conical shade is 18\" indiameter and the lamp stands 25\" tall. Thereare no chips, dings, fleabites, cracks or anything on the shade. The painting is crispand clear and I see no evidence of touch ups. Its just absolutelystunning to look at, with a true 3-dimensional look no matterwhich way it faces. The bulbous urn style base is colid and sturdy and has its original gold wash finish on it. It has what looks like its original hardware including 3 matching P&S labeled sockets with their original porcelain interiors with ball ended pull chains. The lamp is wired with period style gold cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and ready to use and enjoy. I am listing this lovelyPittsburgh scenic lampfor what I believe to be a very fair Buy-It-Now price, but will considerserious offers. Successful buyer to pay $85 shipping/insurance.

A note on shipping: For thoseof you who do not normally buy lamps, you may think what I am asking to shipthis lamp to you is a lot of money. I assure you, though, that I do notmake anything on shipping and actually typically lose money on this part of thetransaction. I challenge you to take something like this to your localUPS Store and see what they would charge you to ship it. I pack extremely wellas my response reflects, and am proud of my shipment record. I am willingto ship this lamp for $85 to any of the contiguous United Sates, but cannotoffer that price to members in Alaska or Hawaii.....it just can\'t be donefor that amount and I have lost enough money trying. If you live in these areasand are interested in this lamp, please contact me for an actual shippingquote.

If you like lamps or need partsplease feel free to look at my other sales or contact me. I am acollector of these myself and always try to offer nice examples to othercollectors. I am not making a living at this so can afford to offerthings up without reserve or list them at very fair prices so that othercollectors can appreciate them as much as I do. That being said, pleasedo not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to getsuch a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. Ifyou want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you want a nicequality antique old one at a fair price, you have found the right seller.

Finally, please keep in mind thatwith all my sales, the winning buyer may is free to come by and pick it upin person if they wish.
