This is item includes seventy paper or lightweight cardboard cutouts from the 1940's? They have a western theme to them: cowboy riding a horse, a gold miner, horses, buffalo, lots of animals, wagon, street scene, etc.
Others have a safari theme of: hunter, crocodile, elephant (part of tail is detached), leopard, bear, warthog These are old and have bends and creases in them, most likely played with. I didn't see any major damage to the pieces such as parts missing. The crocodile measures 10" long, elephant is 5" tall, the hunter is 4-5/8" tall.
Some of these seem to have been from old nursery rhymes like Little Boy Blue and Old King Cole, plus two with mosquitos: Ole' Man Mosquito and The Disappointed Mosquito (a few notches out of the end of this one where the mosquitos are standing on a hammer and shooting little red beads through it, and Noah's monkey (holding an umbrella, and a stork carrying twins titled "The Hamelin Twins.
Dogs: Dachsund with dog house, Boston Bull Terrier, Harlequin Great Dane, Wire-Haired Fox Terrier staring at a fish bowl, a Pekingese, and a St. Bernard. The Saint Bernard is the largest at 5" and the Terrier is the smallest at 4" x 2-1/2".
Some are group photos, some are close-ups. These are old and have bends and creases in them, most likely played with. I didn't see any major damage to the pieces
