Offering this antique handleless cup with an unusual sponged spatter design. I\'ve had many pieces of this time period (mid 1800\'s) and style, but none with this paint pattern. This is probably stick sponged, but the paint (and /or glaze) had texture to it, and it\'s a mix of blue and green. The cup is 2 1/2\" tall, 4\" top rim, 1 7/8\" foot rim. There is no damage. Some glaze wear on rim and some glaze \"folds\" or raised areas inside (I\'ve shown them - they are not cracks). What might appear to be a chip on the foot is actually under the glaze. This is from a top Lancaster PA sale from years ago, so I\'m ready to part with it. The last picture shows some other stick spatter, etc. I have in my shop.
