Here is a wonderful Navajo Doll with Provenance. There is a card attached from where she was mailed from the original owner Bess Pond (question spelling of last name) to Miss Evelyn Blaine in New Jersey. The stamp used to mail this item was a 1.5 cent stamp from the early 1930\'s, I believe. The message on the card reads as follows, \"This is the Squaw I promised you. She comes directly from the Navajo Reservation\" Bess Pond. The mailing card has a bit of bending. The doll is around 5 inches tall. She has a wonderful facial expression with beaded necklace. She is missing some hair or possible hairpiece? No odors. She is being sold as found. Please ask if questions as I know little about her. I will ship her again via USPS in bubblewap. .
