This beautiful little horn is only 4.5\" in length by 1.4\" at the widest point. The sides have been thinned so the owner can see how much powder remains by holding it up to the sunlight. There are several old scratches in the horn itself but none go through the horn. The horn has a rounded wood base plug, a carved nipple and a wood peg in the opening. I don\'t know exactly how old this horn is but I believe it to be over 200 years old. I\'ve had it for 35 years and bought it from the family of one of our county\'s earliest residents.
