J. J. Audubon is an icon as an early American Naturalist and Wildlife Painter . He lived from 1785-1857.
and published his monumental work, BIRDS OF AMERICA in1827-38. He was born in Haiti and
settled in New York in 1842. A U.S. ornithologist, naturalist and painter, he traveled to the West and the
headwaters of the Missouri River, and ultimately began work on a new volume, \"The Viviparous Quadrupeds
of North America\", but died before completing it. His son, John Woodhouse Audubon, published it after his
death in 1854.Verification on the Print:
