This little old bear came from an old farm house that was going to be tore down,I know the guy that was going to bull doze it & he give me a call & told me about a few things & this little guy was one of them.The old house was well over 100 years old with hand made doors & windows but most of it was rotten,what a waste.This was one of only a few things we were able to save.It was wrapped in old news papers & put in an old box is the only reason it is still with us.This came from an old farm house on the narrows road near Gurly creek in Blount county,Al. Blount county was a county before Alabama was a state. The bear is 19 inches tall from ear to foot & 13 inches wide from paw to paw.
