Antique RARE BRAMELD Staffordshire Blue and White Foot Bath or Bidet 1800-1820:
$500.00

Extremely rare Brameld Staffordshire early 19th century offeret . The top surface is excellent, and there are no cracks, though there are a number of chips (7 on the underside rim). The chips can not be seen when the piece is viewed from the top. Please examine all photos. In my opinion, tho not perfect, the offeret is in good condition for a piece this age (200 years old, plus). Marked BRAMELD followed by a cross and shamrock, the offeret dates from 1806 to 1824, after which it became known as the Rockingham pottery, after Earl Fitzwilliam of Rockingham bailed the Bramelds out of bankruptcy. The early transfer ware pattern on the offeret is called \"Boys Fishing\"
Measures 17 1/4inches by 11 1/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches.
