This is a very rare 1st edition 1918 of the geologic survey of the southern Eastern Sierra. There are two wonderful old 1912 maps of the northern and southern Owens Valley. The maps are in excellent condition and look as if they have only been opened a couple of times. There is a slight bend on the front cover and slight water marks along the bottom pages from page 109 to page 130. The smaller map is approximately 24\" square and larger is approx 38\" by 24\" and are dated 1913.This book is full of information about the old mines in the area. Many of the towns on the maps are no longer in existence. Please ask questions
