A neat Pennsylvania quilt with trees pattern in red and green fabrics. It reminds me of apple trees.

The quilt is a folky one with quilted flowers and motifs. It\'s dated 1927 and also 1948. Possibly one started in 1927 by grandma and finished later in 1948 by a relative. Just a thought for the two dates. Or possibly made to celebrate a 20 year anniversary.

It measures 88 x 87 inches. Hand quilted 8 stitches per inch. Pencil lines. The edges are turned and hand sewn. Batting is thin. The background is a cream color. Light age spotting.

In wonderful shape, crisp, never used or washed.
