Here\'s an attractive antique oak wall clock with a pendulum window and the word \"hope\".
The 8 inch face of the clock has \"Royal\" written on it. This is a bit of a puzzle, since I could find very little info about this company.
Nothing else was found on or inside the cabinet to help further identify it, and no writing was stamped into the movement.
However, the gong base has the word \"clock\" written in a distinctive style. (see last photo), perhaps this could help identify the manufacturer.The movement has a broken time spring, but the chiming spring winds and clock strikes when hands are advanced.
Cabinet is in solid attractive condition. However, there is some moderate cracking of veneer on pendulum door.Clock measures 21\" long and 12 \" wide around the face. Clock is 4-1/2\" wide, including bezel.
Sold AS-IS. No key included.
