Offered for sale is this beautifully painted antique Royal Vienna porcelain stein. It has 3 portraits - a monk with his stein on the front, another religious man on the top of the lid, and a woman on the underside of the lid. The stein is further decorated with raised gold and beads. The thumblift is brass. The stein is titled \"Stillvergnught\", which I translate to \"Quietly Hilarious\", and the monk does look amused. This stein is from a superb collection of steins that I will be selling over the coming weeks. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures.There is no capacity mark but this looks like a 1/2L size stein. It is approximately 7 inches tall to the top of the thumblift. It is in pristine condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no restoration. There is some light age-related toning to the gold.
