See page 18.This lovely vase/jug is embossed with the Cabbage Leaf Decor. The floral blue pattern is called Cabbage Leaf and was printed in cobalt blue in natural floral sprays, on soft porcelain under a glaze. The mask spout is so unusual! I just love it!The sterling silver trim was added around 1832 by the Lias Brothers of London, England as marked on the rim IL, HL, CL. (John, Henry, and Charles). Detailed silver trim was used to fix damaged porcelain in the 1800\'s because porcelain was very expensive and decent glue was not available.The jug would make a beautiful vase, or water pitcher.It is in great display condition for such a large early piece of porcelain.Mint condition, no chips, cracks or repairs.
