Antique Russian Bead Work Framed - Late 19thC / Early 20thC:

This is a superb example of antique beadwork which we found in Moscow ... The beads are very small, which determines its approximate dating, as does the color of beads and the subject matter (Oriental/Turkish theme) which supports the dating as well.. For further study please see the book by E.S. Yurova \"Old Russian Beadwork\" published in Moscow in 1995.

In a black composite frame, matted, behind glass (frame has a slight chips to it- see photos)

Size without frame of the beadwork: 5 1/2 X 4 inches

Size including frame : 11 3/4 X 10 1/4 inches

Due to the glass covering the beading, there is a shadow reflection on the work in our photos...this is not a defect, but simply the reflection from the glass...we tried to eliminate it, but couldn\'t without taking the beading out of the frame...Please be assured the beaded work is whole and in excellent condition.
