Description:A Russian gold and carved rock crystal ice skate tie pin, Samuel Arndt, Nicholls & Plincke, St Petersburg, before 1880. Modeled as an ice skate lying on the ice, contained in original silk- and velvet-lined leather-bound fitted box of the prestigious St Petersburg retailer stamped in gilt with the firm\'s name with the Imperial Warrant, demonstrating that the firm was designated as Purveyors to the Imperial Court. Struck with maker\'s mark and 56 standard (14 karat)
