Description:

This 19thcentury antique chromolithograph is approx. 19 5/8” high x 15 5/8” wide

framedin an original 1” oak frame under glass.It is signed “Leiber” in the lower right.

It has “Saviour of the World”in three languages, #2002, “Imprimi Permittitur

Ordinariatus Episcopalis Limburggensis”in the lower margin. The print has atear

in the upper right top and edge, a bit of margin loss, and a few verylight scratches.

Overall, it is in greatantique vintage condition! Please view photos. Frame sold as is.

This chromolithograph is by the renownedGerman artist, Fridolin Leiber (1853-1912).

In 1881, he became the head art director and artist in the lithographicstudio of Edward Gustav May

(Frankfort Germany), an art publishing companyspecializing in religious chromolithographic art works.
