I’m offering today a wonderful Antique SCHOENHUT Doll Size Wooden Piano with Nymphs and Cherubs.

This lovely Antique Schoenhut doll size piano comes from my personal collection. I\'ve owned this petite size piano over thirty years and it has been on display with many of my antique bisque dolls. The dark mahogany colored wood represents an upright piano which was popular during the turn of the century.

The back panel or center presentation of the piano has a long paper decal which depicts cherubs and nymphs dancing in the background. Surprisingly the paper has survived nicely over these many years. I\'ve taken a close-up which indicates a patent date of September 18, 1900. There are fourteen wooden keys which are painted to resemble authentic piano keys. Several of them still play, but there are a couple which are mute. This has never bothered me or my dollies.

The wood is a dark rich color and does show a bit of wear; but please keep in mind this is a true antique toy from turn of century and will not be new. Each side of the piano has lovely detailed curved legs which attach to the base giving this a dainty feminine look. The back side is plain wood with open panel allowing to see piano key placement. Dust inside comes free from many years of displaying.

This is just a suggestion, but I wouldn\'t recommend purchasing this for a small child. This is an antique piece and I personally don\'t feel it would hold up well for a little one. The dollies love it and it looks beautiful with those Schoenhut\'s, Heubach\'sor Kestner dolls.

SIZE:

This is a petite doll size piano measuring approximately 15\" wide by 10-1/2\" tall by 8-1/4\" deep.

CONDITION:

This is a true Antique Schoenhut piano from the 1900\'s and will not come new. The paper decal has some wear to it. There are some chips on the wood and some of the keys do not play. Having said that, it is a wonderful display piece for those antique dolls. Please view complete set of photos for thorough description.

CONDITION OF SALE/RETURN POLICY:

All items are sold as is/as photographed. Unless an item has been grossly and intentionally misrepresented in the sale description, returns will not be accepted. All of my items I\'ve either owned for 45 plus years, collected over the years or purchased from Estate Sales or sales. It\'s time to clear out and I certainly do not want any item coming back. It\'s time for someone else to enjoy and find a lovely spot in their home for years of enjoyment as my husband and I have over these many years. A buyer\'s failure to contact me with any questions and/or requests for additional photographs will not constitute grounds for returning an item.

Payment should be made within 4 days. All items are shipped within 1 - 3 business days after payment has cleared. Domestic orders estimated delivery time is 3 to 10 days.

All items will be shipped via USPS mail. U.S. SHIPPING ONLY!! NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. The shipping fees listed are for US only.

PLEASE NOTE: I live in a small town in East Texas and our post office is closed on the weekends. If your items ends on Friday after 12:00 pm, Saturday or Sunday, it will be mailed first thing Monday morning. I go to the Post Office Monday thru Friday.

No weekend postal service may cause a delay in quick delivery, but unfortunately this is out of my control and my hope is that each Buyer understands my situation and will not hold me responsible for the delay.

Every item I sell is carefully and thoughtfully packaged in accordance with USPS shipping standards. For your protection and mine, it is highly recommended you purchase shipping insurance for your purchased item. Should your item sustain damage during transport and no insurance was purchased, I will not be held responsible for said damage.

I do use recycled boxes to help with our Environment. I purchase new bubble wrap and new peanuts for safe travel. Packing is done with the utmost care. All jewelry items will have new boxes and mailed in bubble wrap envelopes.
