My best guess as to age is c. 1900s - 1920s
I could find no makers mark but it looks very much like bags made by Whiting & Davis.
MEASURES approx 4\" top of lid to bottom inches when open x approx 4 inches wide
Opening to purse at widest is 3 1/8 inches across top
