This is a cupboard that came out of the old Lincoln or Nettleton elementary school in Duluth MN. I bought it from a teacher who worked there and rescued it when the school was modernized.

It is a fabulously rustic example of Americana and really unique in the size and the cubbies inside. I\'ve never seen another and really hate to part with it but I just don\'t need any longer. I am an artist so right now i use it to store many different materials like raw wool, buttons, and other odds and ends odds but I am paring that collection down so I figured I\'d let it go that someone who could :). I always thought it would be a great piece in a kitchen or Rec room.

I\'m sure it was originally used in an art class to keep projects until they dried as inside are all cubbies rather than shelves and traces of labels still remain but it\'s also possible it was used as kindergarten lockers. My guess is that it was made in 1920\'s or so but I\'m not an expert so I will leave official determination up to them. I\'m pretty sure it was a built in cupboard or at least a room divider as the top piece of wood is older but most likely not original and it is the only section of outside that shows any real damage. You can see where a potted plant was kept.

This piece is HEAVY! This is why I have it listed as local pick up only but if you want to hire movers you are welcome to. My only requirement there is that payment be made in advance and if that is thru PayPal that you authorize funds be released on day of pick up. Otherwise I accept cash payment at time of pick up.

It will most likely require professional movers unless you have 5 muscle guys like I had to get it in here- of course, they had to move it upstairs to bring it in and it IS much easier to go downstairs than up:)

It is upstairs w one long flight of stairs but there are no landings to worry about and I do have access to a piano slide to help move it downstairs which is the hardest part. After that it moves relatively easy w furniture dollies and it fits in the elevator which means the one flight of stairs is the only real tricky area.

It is 7 ft long... just to be clear on size and it is almost 4 1/2 ft tall.

One knob is off the left door in the picture but I do have it. I will add a picture when I put it back on.

The clock on top and contents are NOT included and will be removed before it is picked up.
