Huge Blue Topaz is about 13mm by 19mm by 7mm deep, set in hallmarked 14K yellow gold filigree setting. Tiny seed pearls encircle the Topaz.
Size 7 1/2. Piece is in wonderful condition. The stone is beautiful, with no scratches. The seed pearls encircle the topaz on a wire that weaves through the setting. The pearls are supposed to slide freely on the wire, and they do. It\'s hard to say if any pearls are missing... if you slide the pearls as closely together as you can, it\'s possible that 1 or 2 more pearls would fit on the wire. I used an online carat calculator and am guesstimating the stone to be somewhere between 12 and 13 carats. I bought this ring from an antique jewelry dealer 25 years ago and paid $1,000.
