Here is a nice old Seth Thomas Office No. 11 made around1921. It has a mahogany case and a 30day movement. This style clock came indifferent sizes – this is the larger model measuring 19” x 19” x 5-1/4”. The clock runs and keeps good time and hasits original pendulum. It does not comewith a key. The works are large doublespring movement with graham dead-beat escapement. The dead-beat escapement hand needs to besoldered (see picture). The clock is missing the nut that holds the handson. The hands are currently being heldon by a washer that I was able to thread on it. The works are marked SethThomas. The clock has a 12” dial and isin good condition. The mahogany case hasits original finish with a wear spot in the varnish on the right hand side (seepicture). There is also a small piece of veneer missing on the bottom left (see picture). This particular case also featuresa lock which opens and closes with a clock key which is not included. It’s a great clock with a lot of character.
