Listing an antique Seth Thomas adamantine 8 day time and strike mantel clock. This rare model (BLANCHE) is date stamped on the bottom c. 1907 K. Beautiful seldom seen in this condition white onyx adamantine case is in very nice condition. Does have a couple of very minor chips. Feet and column holder have their original finish. Case has been cleaned and polished. Has not been re-coated.
Beautiful and original 4 1/4 inch porcelain dial is covered by and original cast brass door with convex glass. Clock case measures leg to leg 17 inches wide by 12 inches tall by 7 inches deep.
A Seth Thomas stamped 4 1/2 8 day time and strike key wind movement runs and strike as it should. Movement has been cleaned and bench tested. Movement strikes the hour on the hour and strikes a cup bell once on the half. Has a nice deep tone.
A beautiful example of Seth Thomas quality, This antique mantel clock is easy to wind, easy to set, and easy to clean. Clock will set safely on an 19 inch wide shelf or mantel at least 8 inches deep.
