Nice older Seth Thomas Mantel Clock for your buying consideration here. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself!

Still researching what model clock this is. If one of you knows, please bring to our attention. Your identity would be kept anonymous. The clock was made in the USA in New York. None of the paper label is still on the base plate of the clock.

Good old clock for one of you out there. This is Seth Thomas Metal Case Clock. The clock dates to the latter 1800s. Has a great looking brass movement. Has the dial/gear that handles the strike outside of the back plate instead of being incorporated within.

The metal case has a nice black enamel paint on it. Some finish and paint loss. Great incising designs on the front of the case with gold colored paint still within the incising. The rear door is still securely attached to the case by the hinges as is the knob for it. Gold colored probably brass metal ball feet on the clock case.

Nice flat glass in the bezel over the face of the clock. No cracking or blistering to the glass. The bezel is securely attached to the clock case. Black numbering on the white colored tin clock face. The clock face shows very little wear to the finish. Has Seth Thomas noted in the middle of the clock face and USA at the bottom of the clock face. Beautiful open escapement movement here.

The bezel is securely attached to the case. Nice looking brass movement on this clock. The Seth Thomas logo is on the back plate at top left. There is no movement number on the back plate.the left leg of the bottom plate. The movement is run by a pendulum which is with the clock. Nice gong sound on this clock with the gong rod. Gave the rear plate pivots and bushings a cleaning and oiling. The two springs feel sound when keyed. The clock comes with a vintage wind key and the pendulum bob that came with it. The clock is in running, and striking condition.

Per another er,It\'s called the \"Iron No.600\". Clock number 1869 on page 553 of Tran Duy Ly\'s Seth Thomas Clocks and Movements, 3rd edition, volume 1.
