This is an antique boudoir bench. 40.5\" wide X 26.25\" height to top of the shell back rest X 16\" depth. From floor to seat without cushion 19.5\" It features a carved shell and floral swag design with an upholstered seat. Unlike most that just had a flat, upholstered seat, this piece actually has a sort of looping, curved frame. It makes it more visually interesting. Another interesting thing is that it features scrolled feet. This bench was appraised by an expert and assessed as being a French Regence Revival piece from the late 1800s / early 1900s. And most likely is mahogany. There are a few signs of wear, a couple stains as shown but overall in fantastic condition.
