Antique Sevres Pair of Bisque Parian Busts Of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI:

This is a stunning pair of 19th century Sevres Biscuit or Parian busts of Marie Antoinette and Louis the XVI. Both busts are mounted on beautiful bronze stands. Both busts of are very finely detailed which reflects the high quality of Sevres. Please scroll over the busts for details. Both busts have the impressed Sevres double L mark and has what appears to be the letter F inside the Ls. I am no expert but from the mark I believe these to be from the early 1800\'s. I am so sorry but I was unable to photograph the mark but it just would not show in the picture. The marks are on the bottom of the bisque column under the bronze base on each bust. I have to say that these pictures do not do them justice they truly are beautiful and the details are amazing. They are in excellent condition. I do not see any cracks or repairs. The bronze is ornate and equally beautiful. The bust of Louis XVI is about 13 1/4 inch tall and the bust of Marie is about 14 1/4 inches tall, both bases of the stands are about 4 1/2 inches wide. These are a work of art and a wonderful addition to the fine arts collector. These are rather heavy and the shipping will be determined by the zip code.
