Antique Sharp & Smith Brass Tube Science Medical Device Piece

Very nice old piece. Comes with light scuffs, scratches and surface wear from age, use and storage.

Each end has a cap that screws off and on. Each cap has a hole in the center as well for something to be threaded through it possibly. Not really sure what this item was used for but Sharp & Smith made many Medical and Dental devices.

Overall measures approx. 5-3/4\"Long (end to end) 4\"Long without caps on each end x just under 1\"Diam.
