For your consideration is an exquisite signed L.C. Tiffany Studios Trumpet Vase, circa 1905.
The vase is a beautiful piece of gold lustre Favrile glass in a trumpet form. It has a striking pulled feather décor, with amixture of iridescent green, gold and rich opal colors. The insertmeasures approx. 8” tallby 4” at widestand is signed on thebottom LCT.
The gold dore base has an artichoke design stem and measures approx. 5.5” tall by 5” at widest. It is signed on the bottom Tiffany Studios New York and numbered 1043. Total height being 12” tall.
The Favrile glass vase is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks or repairs;with light wear and normal manufacturing characteristics of glass from this era - color variations, ash specks, etc.(see pics).
