Here is a Older Vintage Shaped Carved Leather with hand engraved Silver mounted browband for a horse bridle- The leather looks hand cut and stitched together- the browband ends have weak and worn points into the leather, near the end loops as it is a heavy browband- The hand carved engravings are interesting art forms, with etched detailed, flowers and shell type border tooling-The reminds me of Navajo artwork- this was said to have been acquired back in the mid 1950s- - I do not know if the silver is sterling or not, but it is very fine smooth silver and deeply etched and was darken to almost black patina before I wiped it off for some pictures-
The actual history is unknown, this came in a box with several other old items from a collector\'s estate sale- all will be listed this week-
