Very Early Georgian Silver Plate Adjustable Dish Warmer late 18thc, early 19thc - The dish cross has acanthus design feet and holders - some wear to plate at heave wear locations - shows it to be silver on copper - the finials appear to be brass - No hallmarks of any kind - assume early British Sheffield Plate - the feet supports slide across the square rods in order to hold various dish sizes and shapes - measures 11 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches and will hold a dish 5 3/4 x 12 inches round or oval - weighs a whopping 1 lb 9 oz on my postal scale. Tarnished as I found it - otherwise very good antique condition.
