Offered is this very early pair of silver plate trumpet vases made by Rogers & Bro., Waterbury, Ct. The vases feature an ornate pattern of Griffins with a decorative finish top rim edge. They stand approximately 7\" tall and the base measures 2 3/4\" in diameter. Please note the different construction on the underside of the bases. They are in excellent condition for their age, with no notable silver loss, just a tiny surface mark here and there as shown in the pictures. One vase is missing a tip at the top of a Griffin and a decorative end at the base. The other vase has a couple of tiny shallow surface dents on the base and the top decorative edge has a manufacturing flaw as seen in the pictures. They display beautifully.
