Antique Silver Single Shamrock Brooch Connemara Green Marble Stone - J.C.& S. Pin
Description: An antique silver brooch with three dark dark green Connemara marble stones that form an Irish shamrock. The shamrock is about 1\" in diameter. It has a sturdy old-fashioned c-clasp on the reverse. We believe it dates to the Victorian Era, perhaps 1880s - 1890s. The maker\'s mark is J.C. & S. for James Cook and Sons, Birmingham, England. It is stamped \"sterling\". I find no hallmarks. It needs cleaning. It is in good condition, with just enough wear to give it that extra measure of antique charm and to testify to its age. It needs cleaning. It has a natural hairline fissure in one of the stones as you see in our photos. The stone is not loose; it is not damaged.
