Up for offers is aVintageAntique Simon Bros. Sterling Silver Ball & Chain Tea Infuser Strainer & Standthat I picked up at alocal estate sale.

This is an Antique \"Ball & Chain\" Tea Infuser with Tripod Tray Stand. It is marked on the bottom of the Stand with an \"S\" inside a shield and based on my modest on-line research, that appears to be an Silver Mark for the Simon Brothers Silver Company that was formed in Philadelphia, PA in 1840. I\'m not sure of the age of this Infuser. If some kind er knows when it was manufactured and would like to share that info, I\'ll be glad to update my description. The Ball has a diameter of approximately 1-1/2\" and the Tray has a diameter of approximately 2-1/2\" and when sitting on the stand, the Infuser has a height of approximately 2-3/4\". The Bottom of the Infuser Ball is marked, \"STERLING\" and the base of the Tray is marked with the \"S\" in a shield with \"STERLING\" and the number \"1794\". The Ball is decorated with Star-shaped cut-outs. Some light scuffs and scratches and minor dings to the Ball, (especially to a couple of the Star cut-outs) but the Hinge on the Ball works perfectly and the Original Chain is attached. The Set weighs 39 grams as you can see in my last photo.

No Box, Paperwork or other accessories included. Only what you see in my photos.
