March 14th, 1871 is marked on the back of the handle - Reed & Barton - engraving at the top is LUCY. Lucy was the name of my Grandfather\'s sister who died as a child. My grandfather was born in the 1870\'s, and this would have been his older sister who was born in the 1860\'s in Kennebunk, Maine.
The spoon is in very good shape and does not have any dents - please see close-up pictures - measures 6 inches.
