ST CLAIR PAPERWEIGHT ANDIRONS

I believe these are St Clair but I see others claim they are Joe Zimmerman.I don\'t know much about who or what;I bought from an estate sale.They appear to be in pretty good condition with no chips to the glass. The brass has age and shows some tarnish and scratches. The back of one glass part, the lower elongated glass part on one andiron, has a film or something on it. I tried windex to clean it off but nothing happened; it\'s still a bit hazy there from whatever it is, maybe it got something on it and can be cleaned off or it may have etched the glass. It is only on the back of one (toward fire) so you can\'t see it, but I needed to mention it. They display beautifully but mypictures inmy fireplace don\'t dothem justice. Each marked with \"3431 1\" on the brass bases and 1919 L & R marked on the cast iron legs.

Each measures 7.75\" wide at brass front, 23\" tall and 18.25\" from back of cast iron to front of brass bottom.
