Up for sale is a gorgeous factory decoratedantiqueT & V (Tressemann & Vogt) porcelainserving bowl with a transfer of Purple and WhiteOrchids with green leaves inside the bowl,and gold details at the raisedscalloped rimfrom Limoges, France. It has a single side handle with raised scrolls that have been outlined with gold. The body of the bowl is scalloped. There is a gold swagtransfer beneath therim. The bowl is 9 1/2\" across at the handle and 10 1/4\" wide. It is 2 1/2\" tall atthe handle. The condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. There are four places at the rim where thegold transfer did not adhere because of the shape of the bowl or else it has worn off from age and use. It has the green under glaze mark for T & V that dates to from 1892 until 1907 and the red T & Vmark to indicate factory decorating that dates to from 1892 until 1907.
