Antique Tall Case / Grandfather Clock c. 1895:

Very handsome late 19th century 8-day clock with a good mahogany case, original glass and hardware, no loss in height and runs fine (no calendar). The form is American with a dovetailed bonnet, nice white dial with no restoration evident.
There is a name on the dial but it is illegible under black light. It appears the seat board is a replacement which would explain the thin shims; a different thickness of wood was used for the replacement.
Measures 94\" high, 19\" wide, 9\" deep.
